Women who like wearing jewelry usually love diamonds, gold, and silver. Other women prefer pearls. Pearls are beautiful, hard gems that come in white, red, gray, blue, green, and black. They are typically spherical in shape, but there are those that form unevenly, i.e. baroque pearls. Perfectly round pearls are considered the most beautiful and they are ideal to be used as jewelry. Oysters produce these precious, iridescent stones. Amazingly, they are the by-product of a biological process that occurs when an irritant or a foreign substance such as a food particle, enters an oyster’s shell. Contrary to popular belief, the irritant is hardly ever a grain of sand. Clams and mussels can also produce this precious stone, but not as frequent as oysters do. Imagine then this woman’s surprise ...

COST OF LIVING IN THE PHILIPPINES is a series I do based on my travels and this particular video was a 3 dive day tour on what is known as a pump boat and had a cost of 3400 pesos which is approximately $80 American. Although it is the most expensive dive facility in Palawan I suggest if you are looking to save approximately 1000 pesos or $20 per day you review some of the other facilities available in Coron Palawan as I myself will do as well because it will be an extended 20 day trip which will save me approximately $400 and $400 that I don't have to take out of the bank and that my friends is how you save money in the Philippines. The typical diving day for any of the facilities consists of 3 individual diving experiences. The first dive is usually the deepest at around 33 m and the ...

Wondering why you should go to El Nido? Check out Adventurous Will's blog about El Nido! https://adventurouswill.com/el-nido/ This video describes the two main options for traveling from Manila to El Nido, Palawan in 2016. Traveling to El Nido can be rather time consuming to research. I break down the transportation into two main options. Option 1 involves taking a flight from Manila to Puerto Princesa and then taking a shared van ride to El Nido. This route is fairly cheap but takes a great deal of time and energy. Option 2 is to take the direct flight from Manila to El Nido. It's the quickest way to get to Palawan from Manila. The airline has recently changed from ITI to Air Swift. They are very similar, but the prices and luggage policies have changed in early 2016. Instagram: htt...
Coron Palawan was the first stop on our three week journey through the Philippines. This post is part of our "The Philippines Travel Guide" Blog post series. Be sure to check out the other posts on amazing locations like El Nido, Puerto Princesa, Boracay and Manila. Coron Palawan is small island off the northern tip of Palawan. Palawan itself has been noted in the top 10 places to visit by the CNTraveler and has stunning beaches, amazing food and wonderful culture. Even though this post is part of my "The Philippines Travel Guide" I want each post in the big guide to work as kind of a mini-guide. A one stop insider perspective into Coron. Therefor I made sure to construct every post on the same foundation - 5 points that are important to me. 1. Getting to Coron Palawan and getting around...

Coron is another of the philippines amazing places! it's huge limestone cliffs are like the walls of a fortress towering out of the sea And just like a fortress the rocks on top are sharp like daggers! There are some fantastic beaches surrounding this island. And some very interesting freshwater lakes on the interior. But by far the biggest and best reason to visit Coron is the fantastic shipwrecks you can scuba dive. Underneath the waves lies arguably the number one place in the world to Scuba dive shipwrecks! This is what I’m here to see! Sitting at the bottom of the sea are not one not 2 but 11 absolut...
